Johnpaul Onyango is a seasoned finance and business advisory expert with vast experience in financial planning and management, financial modelling, business advisory and strategic management. He is also a highly rated capacity building and training expert leading various teams in training for SMEs on financial literacy, Strategic Business planning and financial policy development. 

He is a co-founder and partner at Centafrique Consulting where he works as a financial policy expert, business advisory consultant and trainer with over 5+ years’ experience working within the Eastern Africa region. He is well rounded in the areas of research, financial policy formulation and review and strategic planning and review. 

Specifically, he has in depth training and experience in financial planning and management for both Public and Private Sector Corporate Organizations; financial policy development for government agencies, financial policy mainstreaming; and Project Management.  He has in-depth knowledge of current development approaches and trends in the financial space, issues and debates at National, Regional and Global levels.  

He has previously worked in Insurance, Investment and research sectors and has led implementation of several assignments in Centafrique Consulting. 

Mr. Onyango holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) – Kenya and currently pursuing a certified public accountants professional certification.
