Project Description
The Go Blue project aimed to promote sustainable blue economy practices through inclusive and environmentally sound interventions. Pamoja for Transformation Trust, part of the implementing partners engaged Centafrique Consulting to conduct an independent evaluation to assess the project’s overall impact, effectiveness, and sustainability.
The evaluation focused on assessing the relevance, efficiency, and outcomes of the project, while identifying strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement in its design and implementation. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative tools—including surveys, stakeholder interviews, and field visits—to gather data from communities, implementing partners, and institutional actors.
A key component of the assignment involved comprehensive stakeholder mapping to analyze the roles, influence, and relationships of actors involved in or affected by the project. The findings were consolidated into a detailed evaluation report that documented lessons learned, highlighted best practices, and provided evidence-based, actionable recommendations to inform future programming and guide policy development within Kenya’s blue economy sector.
